Tapping away Tulip pollen

Tap away most of the pollen from a fully opened tulip.

Dangle the mature tulip upside down. Gently tap the flower head with your ring finger to remove excess pollen. You have the least strength in your ring finger and will not damage the petals by tapping too hard even if you are in a hurry and need to tap many tulips.

Blow away any left-over pollen and you are ready to design with the fully open tulips.

Every week I add a new design with related tutorials. Be sure to subscribe to receive an email notification with design inspiration.
