Smooth dried hydrangea flowers in the palm of your hand

If you want really smooth rigid flowers it is best to dry the flowers in a book. But these are ideal if you want the flowers to still look natural and open. Hydrangeas become papery when dried and can easily be smoothed with your body heat in the palm of your hand.

There is a link to a drying hydrangea Tutorial below

Carefully fold open the hydrangea and place flat in the palm of your hand.

Hold the hydrangea flower in the palm of your hand.

Hold the flower for about 30 seconds to let your body heat smooth out any folds

When you open your hand the flower will be smoothed out.
