Vanilla

South African Flower Union show

This design was staged as a member of the South African Flower Union, Western Cape.

I made a vanilla “wafer” shape out of paper bark and used fresh vanilla pods as accents. The rest of the design is made up of indigenous South African fynbos In contemporary design terms a “vanilla design” is a design without gimmicks or optional extras
