Curl wire tendrils
Curl the wire around a wooden skewer, dowel stick or pencil (depending on how big you want the tendril curls) at irregular intervals leaving sections straight.
Wrap the wire.
Wrap the wire.
Add a curl and a twirl.
Add a curl and a twirl to mimic natural tendrils.
And wrap the rest of the wire around the skewer
